As you all know, while we were in Cambodia last time we decided to sponsor a little girl, Liza, so she could go to school. She lives in the Garbage Dump Community; being able to go to school is life changing for her.
We have seen the difference that sponsorship can make in these kids lives. Besides the fact they are getting an education, they are off the streets and in a safe environment during the day! The need is great for Sponsors. We know that being a sponsor is a huge commitment- $50 a month until they are 18- but the hope is to have a relationship that will continue a lifetime. It's not a commitment that should be taken lightly. If anyone is interested in sponsoring any of these girls, we would love to facilitate it thru Hope For the Silent Voices. (see attached photo of just a few of the girls in the garbage dump community that are awaiting sponsorship).
It is our prayer to get all 6 of these girls sponsored!
